University Hill is a terrific neighborhood that encompasses the central portion of the beautiful University of South Carolina campus in Columbia, South Carolina. Bordered by Gervais Street, Pickens Street, and Blossom Street, this neighborhood is within walking distance of downtown Columbia, SC, and its Congaree Vista, and 5 Points areas. Being centrally located in the State and with three primary interstate systems flowing around the City of Columbia (I-77, I-20, and I-26) allows residents to be at the beach or the mountains within a few hours. Residents also have easy access to Charlotte, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia. And being 30 minutes away from I-95, residents have access to a myriad of traveling destinations to the north and south of South Carolina.

There are also several nearby outfitters who schedule trips on the rivers throughout the year. Columbia, SC also has a number of greenways along the rivers providing hiking, jogging, and biking opportunities while enjoying the beautiful river scenery. And for hiking enthusiasts, the Palmetto Trail runs through downtown Columbia, SC.
